Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

College Algebra can be a difficult course to grasp. However Ms. Abbott is always willing to help and elaborate on the material. In fact, she even goes to the academic achievement center sometimes to see if any of her students are there and if they need any help. The book work can be difficult, but if you do it, it helps your grade a good bit.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of the course was the fact that I had no idea how to do algebra before I took this class. Afterwards, I actually feel like I understand how to do algebra and I feel prepared to take the higher level math courses.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering this course, make sure you do your math labs and homework directly after the lecture. Do not let them pile up; it will make the course very difficult and stressful.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would 10/10 recommend, especially if you also have him for Math 999 support.

    Course highlights:

We went over a span of 29 sections. Usually about 5-6 sections per test. On every section you have a math lab and one study plan. All the small assignments really help you keep your grade up if you do badly on an exam.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Buy the book and go ahead and get the math lab. Its not hard at all and it will help you out tons if you do the math labs section as you do the section in class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it definitely helped me to understand the basic fundamentals of college algebra. This teacher was different from the ones I had in high school so it was definitely a challenge.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this course was the way the homework was done. It was online and if you were to get a question wrong, the course would give you the knowledge needed to understand the problem.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell them that they need to get ready to work. It is for sure a hard course, but with the right amount of work ethic it can be passed.
