    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This is a challenging course and you definitely have to put extra time into it in order to understand and to succeed. I have learned so much from this class and it really changed my perspective on life.

    Course highlights:

To me, the highlight of this course would be learning about why the way people are the way that they are. During the course we took a look at the many disorders that make people the way that they are. I found it very interesting because before taking this class I had no idea about this specific topic.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My teacher gave us the option of doing an SQ3R for each chapter and we would be rewarded extra bonus points on tests for doing them. I recommend to definitely take advantage of the opportunity because by going back into the book and outlining the chapter it is also a method of studying. I also encourage students to use the resources given to them such as their books, handouts, vocab sheets, and concept maps.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I personally enjoy the course because it applies to everyday life. It is not a required course, but can easily help students learn about how humans work.

    Course highlights:

I learned about the many different ways that humans think and respond. Also, the history of how humans beliefs about how humans work have changed over the last few decades.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the reading, look at the concept maps, and learn the vocab!
