Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Lemons is a good teacher that molds you into a hard worker. Her course is not for the light hearted or those that want to take the easy way out.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to properly analyze the text for the AP exam and how to infer deeper meanings of what is being said within the text. Mrs. Lemons starts out with giving you the text you'll be tested over a week ahead of time and tells you to: highlight every other sentence, number every sentence; annotate every paragraph, write a summary of every paragraph, and then summarize the whole article into one sentence. This makes you think about everything that's actually going on in the story and helps you in the long run, because there will be a point in the year were she will just give you the article and the test on it with a timer. You will have a limited time to read the article and answer the questions just like the AP exam. She prepares you for the worst and hopes for the best. That's the best kind of teacher any student can have.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to set aside time to do the work on time. Mrs. Lemons gives all of her students the schedule for the entire school year the first day of school, you should be prepared to do it all. I suggest reading over the vocabulary words at least once or twice a day and quizzing yourself over the definition, synonyms, and antonyms. You should also read over and make sure you understand each of the articles she gives you a timed test over if you get them before hand. You need to use everything she gives you to your advantage because it will help you in the long run.
