Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

AP Biology is a great class which prompts curiosity through hands-on experiences. It covers a wide range of biological topics while still going in depth in every chapter. It is a great class to take to prepare for college, especially if you plan to pursue biology, chemistry, or anything in the medical field.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were the labs. You are able to apply what you learned in class which helped my understanding of complex ideas and processes.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I advise students who are taking this class to take the time to understand, not memorize, the components and workings of biological processes, such as glycolysis and photosynthesis.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this because Mr Wesley teaches it in a way where even if you have a hard time memorizing things or hard time going fast, he will help you he will come early in the morning to tutor you and he teaches us you learn not memorize, which will be valuable later in life.

    Course highlights:

One of the highlight of this course was the fact that I received the opportunity to go on a DNA Fingerpringring lab at Pitt, to learn from a professor.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Just keep up with the work and make sure you pay attention in his class. If you don't put in the work he won't put in the work with helping you.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It prepared you for a college class and what you would need to expect. Some courses don't teach you anything, but I learned a lot throughout the year in this course.

    Course highlights:

The labs were definitely a highlight of the class. Getting the chance to do hand on experiments really taught me a lot. The teacher I had really focused a lot on genetics and DNA, which was very interesting.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It is a difficult course that you really need to study for. It is not impossible though, you can achieve whatever you put your mind too. Just prepare yourself for time spent studying and reviewing material.
