    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course is very easy and will be a worth it in college. Mr. Helms is an amazing teacher and prepared us well, especially with the fact that he was an AP grader for exams in the past. The only other option at my school for this class would be core-level, so a lot of people take AP for this course.

    Course highlights:

I personally find World History quite interesting, and the class itself is very easy. The curriculum is very organized with power notes and a quiz every week with unit tests and essays. It really teaches you a relatively wide range of information on international cultures and customs.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Even though the course itself is very easy, you should take it seriously because you want a good score on the exam. Even though class is interesting, I personally would not want to take it again in college for a lot more money and time, especially because it has essentially nothing to do with my major. Procrastinating will make everything more difficult, so practice self-discipline so you can get a good score on the exam and not have to spend more money and time in college.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I absolutely loved this course. I found my teacher intriguing and fun to listen to, and I really liked the type of content that was taught throughout the year. I enjoyed it a lot better than my junior year's Ap US History class.

    Course highlights:

I gained the skills needed to write a good history essay, take proper power notes, and how to actively listen and take notes. While somewhat challenging as most student's first ap class in high school, it really is a great class to take.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It does require a lot of homework, and by homework I mean power notes out of the textbook, along with vocabulary, and filling in a map of some sort. However, you will definitely gain time management skills.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it because the class is very interesting. It spans the history of the world darting at BCE all the way to the 1900's. The teacher I had was a fantastic story teller and his stories helped visualize events and people.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the teachers stories about historical characters. My favorite time period to learn about was the Renaissance and the time surrounding King Henry because it was fun hearing about the mid-evil timesaver all of his wives.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Advice: study study study. I didn't do as well as I should have because I didn't study enough or look at outside sources. Make sure you understand the connections and KNOW YOUR DATES.
