Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course because it provides many students with valuable resources for College preparation and the workforce. Taking this class will improve many areas that you are weak in and strengthen them greatly.

    Course highlights:

My experience with AVID so far throughout the years has been amazing! Before coming into this class I did not have much knowledge on how to manage my time, make a resume, ace an interview or even research Colleges. AVID has greatly improved my communication and presentation skills. This class has also been a supporting class for my academic class and has been a great decision to take that elective.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed when taking this course, all you have to do is manage your time, get assignments done when first give. Don't wait until last minute, because this course prepares you greatly for College and the workforce. Make every minute count in that class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This program really helped shaped me as a person, it makes you get out into the community, helps you learn how to manage your time wisely, keep up with colleges that you want to attend, and keeping your grades as high as possible.

    Course highlights:

As a member of AVID it's required of all students to have 10 hours per semester, attend 2 tutorials each week for the class you have the lowest grade for. I learned later on how to manage my time, so I can have time for club activities and stay on top of my classes

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always have your work done on time, make sure that you meet all requirements. Being in AVID is a priviledge that you must take seriously.
