Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It's a tough class but being exposed to the information really does help in the future. If you qualify or not it still prepares you better for college. She works with you and believes in you as long as you are trying.

    Course highlights:

I struggle with science but she's an amazing person. She enjoys what she does and the students she works with. Pay attention and study. Even if it's only reading over outlines it truly does help. Try your hardest and I promise you will succeed.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the outlines and always highlight. If she says you need to remember something, write it down. Don't be afraid to challenge yourself. The class is hard but worth it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this course because it is a great introduction to the sciences! It is a very good place to start and my professor uses a useful teaching method where the class room is kind of flipped, which personally helps me push myself harder. There are plenty of interesting topics and information to learn in this course and I have not come across anything that I considered boring.

    Course highlights:

One highlight of this course for me was the study of Mendelian Genetics and how character traits were expressed. Evolution was also an interesting highlight, to see how different organisms change over time and adapt these traits that make them better suited for their environment.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Though the professor covers topics well in class, you are required to read! Reading is an important aspect and, because there is a lot of information to take in, students must manage and make time to do the correct amount of studies. Every little assignment and quiz counts! Treat them accordingly and thoroughly complete all assignments, presentations, quizzes and exams accordingly. The professor is always there to help you so it is very important that students take that advantage.
