    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

AP Calculus is a very rigorous course that will prepare you for college level math. It incorporates math skills that you have learned all throughout high school, especially trigonometry and algebra. It is difficult at times, but the challenge is very fun to take on and conquer!

    Course highlights:

The main highlight was the different method of thinking a student has to attain to succeed. I learned how to think more theoretically and not to overthink certain concepts. It was both challenging and refreshing to have to think quicker and theoretically.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always go to your teacher and discuss with your classmates. There is no doubt that you will not understand a concept, and that is completely okay! Just remember to make it a point to understand the concept and not get behind on notes or homework.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would completely recommend it because Mrs. Innis was a fantastic teacher who made the material easy to understand. She engaged the students and helped us over all with everything that we needed. The material was easy to learn and put into practice because of how she taught it.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were actually putting the material into action in projects. These were always fun to do and it helped us learn a lot. I learned all about algebra and got an into to geometry as well.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say to go for it because it's such a great class. Studying helped a lot for quizzes and exams so study habits should be a must in this class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course was very educational and helpful to take. Though it is difficult and time consuming, it helps you later on with other types of math that you will encounter.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was finally understanding why a function worked the way it did. I learned that I needed to work a problem through completely instead of taking shortcut to understand the material better.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It really challenges you and puts what you know about math to the test, but it is so worth it to take this course. It helps you greatly later in your other classes.
