Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mrs. Wilder believes in the full potential of every student. Though this was a college course, I was never extremely overwhelmed because Mrs. Wilder has a way of convincing you that if you try hard enough, you can do it.

    Course highlights:

I learned that regardless of the material we were studying, or how impossible I thought the assignment was, Mrs. Wilder was there to help me through it. She stayed after hours almost every day of the school week, and she was always available to offer advice. She never made us students feel like we were bothering her. She emphasized that it was never an inconvenience to ask for her help, and she was at the school so many hours that it fit every student's schedule. I highly recommend this class, because if you think you cannot, Mrs. Wilder will show you that you can.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Never neglect the homework assignments. They are solely there to help you. Not all of them will be taken for a grade, but they will definitely influence your future grades. Whether you think the assignment is legit or just busy work, it all matters when it comes to tests. If you think you can't read the books that are assigned, listen to them. Don't just wing the tests because you didn't want to read the books. If you don't take the time to study, you will not get the grades of which you are capable.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

To graduate, this course is required. Ms. Wilder is tough, but the class forces you to think and work harder than ever before.

    Course highlights:

I loved the class conversations about the literature we read.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate. Every free second you have, read. Do not get behind, because it is very difficult to catch up. Ask lots of questions.
