Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Mr. Perryman is an astonishing teacher who is extremely intellectual and has a lot of knowledge on nearly every subject. He is also a teacher who pushes his students to do nothing but their best, and accepts nothing less.

    Course highlights:

The highlighted of this course was the lectures and the learning experience about the plague. I learned about Samuel Pepys diary, Pepys was a witness of the the Great Fire of London during the time of the plague. He wrote a diary about his daily life, in every entry he vividly talked about his everyday life, including the Great Fire of London. Also we read Defoes experience of the plague. Defoe was around 5 years old when the plague came about. Being so young, Defoe had to rely on his uncle's accounts and new paper articles on this event. Defoe talked about the hard sores on people's body's that looked like gangrene, he talked about the sicilaian people who started the mob movement by black mailing the people of London of placing the plague infected dead bodys in front of peoples houses since they were immune to the infection.
