    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I learned a lot in this class, and despite my doubts about being able to pass an AP test, I did. However, without the preparation Mr. Russell provided, it would not have been possible. As long as you do your work in his class and go to tutoring if you don't understand something, you will pass his class and receive college credit.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to write a rhetorical analysis essay, which is the essay on the new SAT. I learned how to write a synthesis essay and he also taught students how to write sentences effectively. He teaches how to make people remember your essays and how to do well.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make flash cards for the literary terms and study them. If you have trouble with the essays go ask him for help.

The teacher of this course was the highlight. The concepts taught can be difficult to grasp, but with a great teacher students will thrive. I learned how to dissect speeches and advertisements to recognize persuasive strategies.

    Advice for students:

Study the literary terms! Always read assigned chapters because DYRTTY quizzes are not simple!
