Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is absolutely fantastic. He is fair and he mixes up his lessons so that you don't get tired of going to class. You get worksheets and lessons through powerpoint and also traditional white-board teaching.

    Course highlights:

I am not a history nut so I honestly did not walk away with very much knowledge on history. However, we studied many current events that I gained more knowledge on than anything else.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Definielty the easiest advanced placement course you could possibly take.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was a great course. The only issue was the first few weeks were much too slow, but otherwise it was a great course!

    Course highlights:

I learned US History and got a stab at the AP test to gain some college credit. The Professor is excellent!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read. A lot. Often. You need to read the entire textbook cover to cover to fully grasp the facts and concepts. If you aren't a strong reader, stick to regulars.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course and this professor foster dedication and discipline. The minute you take a seat in her class, and the bell has rung, the first thing you will hear from her is: "Welcome to college!" She is dedicated to her work and the furthering of understanding among students, and is the epitome, to me, of someone who loves all that they do and will not allow any student to slip through your fingers. She will confront you with things she believes you have the ability to do better on.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were her teaching strategy and her love for the topic. She is well versed in United States history, and will always help any student in need. I learned that a great teacher is one that gets on you as a great parent would.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take this course lightly; the amount of work that comes with it is not for the faint of heart. Prof. Wood will push you to your limits to make sure you never have to take this course again, and trust me, you do not want to have to take this course again because you will have to pay, quite literally.
