Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend AP English IV to any students who dare to challenge themselves in the world of British Literature. This course continues to push me outside my comfort zone and greatly expand on my own academic capabilities through poetic interpretation and literary analysis of popular English novels.

    Course highlights:

The most important skill I learned was to be sure that I am an educated citizen of the world and to grow a greater appreciation of books as cultural artifacts of their era. This course reminds me to look deeper than the surface and to appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into many particular novels.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

READ. READ. READ. In case you're not certain, I'm asking very gently for students to read their books and their poetry packets! This helps you to build endurance for the upcoming AP test as well as gain a more thorough understanding of the texts.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I believe that this class prepared me for college in areas I didn't expect to improve in. The continuous work load help get you settled into the amount effort you would need to succeed at a higher level

    Course highlights:

I learned more about poetic formats and thesis writing then any other time I spent in high school. We studied many American poetic and cultural icons that change the way we write now. It helps you strive for more and strain harder to achieve

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I believe if you give it your all and study as hard as you can this class can be very easy to succeed in. If you read what your supposed to and do the course work as your supposed to you should be fine.
