    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to go into the engineering field. BC Calc begins going into the more complicated third branch of calculus, series, and prepares you very well for upcoming calculus courses in college.

    Course highlights:

I learned a great deal about the third branch of calculus, series, as well as engineering topics from applications of nuclear engineering to applications of electrical engineering. This class has taught me the applications of more complicated math in everyday life and different job fields that I am interested in going into.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say to a student that is taking this course to make sure that they understand the previous course, AP Calc AB, and the topics that it entails very well before moving into this course. The topics in the beginning of the year include differentiation and integration, which are necessary to understand in order to move further through the course.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend as Mr. Lewis is a fantasic person as well as a fantastic teacher. He keeps you aware of what you are learning at all times, while challenging you to push yourself and learn more every day you attend class.

    Course highlights:

I learned a great deal about algebra and the importance of past knowledge is from other classes. Algebra 2 is a huge part of the class and is a necessity to get through the year successfully.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Give yourself plenty of time to look over and understand the material, and do not be afraid to ask questions! This is the key to getting through the class with a good grade and understanding the material.
