    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it gets the brain working and exercising. Not only that but Dr. Haley is excellent at making sure her students fully understand.

    Course highlights:

The highlights would definitely be how Dr. Haley made the difficult course fun and easy to understand. I learned how to study so much better and have fun with it.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would tell students to ask themselves if they have time to commit to this course fully. It’s tough but it’s so rewarding in the end when the exam comes.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

An understanding of physics is invaluable and absolutely necessary to be a successful engineering major in college. Mr. Etienne is a recent addition to Dobie but he has proven to be a great teacher.

    Course highlights:

I gained the opportunity to obtain a thorough understanding of physics, and the chance to learn enough to excel on the AP test.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to follow every word of the lecture, making sure you understand and follow from the beginning to the end. Thorough handwritten notes are necessary. Ask a question the second he loses you. Stay on top of the material, do the homework, whether he's grading it or not. Practice at home, or you'll drown in the material and not be able to recover.
