Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the teacher is wonderful and really makes sure you understand what he's teaching you. First few months in this course is a substantial amount of book work but once you get that over with, the second half is just hands on and it's really fun. If you want to go into the health/medical field, this class is a must.

    Course highlights:

This course involves learning the anatomy of the human body, some biology, physiology, and injuries( mainly sports injuries). You learn the different movements of the body parts, how our bodies work, how sports impact our health and the fun stuff was learning how to deal with sports and non-sports injuries.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't enter the course thinking it's gonna be too hard nor too easy. There's a lot of memorizing involved but if you develop good studying habits, which this class also helps you do, then this class will be a breeze. But the main tip is, study. The material inst too difficult and if you put in at least 30 minutes of studying everyday, you'll have no trouble achieving and "A".

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because physics will teach you how to critically think. Although t is not as hard as everyone makes it seem, a lot of effort still has to be applied in class. Learning the material is one thing, but solving problems is more challenging. This course makes you think and ponder about how to solve or approach a problem. Even if science is not your major, I feel like it is a class worth taking because it makes you realize that there are many ways to solve a problem and that it is not sufficient enough to just know the material but to also apply it.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course involved the lectures and discussions. The teacher managed to relate every concept we learned to real world objects and things. A lot of times he made us surprised about the things we would learn. Did you know that id you drop a basketball and ping pong ball, they will fall at the same time to the floor? Apparently, its mass or size have nothing to do with it! It all has to do whether it is hollow or not. Who would have known! Things like that intrigued the students.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

A key to success for this class is taking good notes, paying attention in class, and asking a lot of questions. There will be many times that you might not understand something because concepts can be difficult, but it is essential to not feel shy to ask questions. Even if you have a whole list of questions, it is important to ask them because you learn physics not only through lectures but through discussions prompted by questions. Notes are important because without them, solving physics problems would be a little hard.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the learning experience is hands on as well as note taking. Students are also able to obtain a first aid and CPR certified card that will be issued for up to two years.

    Course highlights:

From this course I have earned how to treat injured people and I was also able to obtain practice in class with real life scenarios. I was also able to learn the bones and muscles from the body through visual learning and also by receiving worksheets that cover the bones and muscles.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend the student to review the notes given to better understand where the muscles are located so that when it is time to actually work hands on with the muscles on a peers leg it would be easier for the student.
