    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it applies to your everyday life. It can help you understand the complexities within all people while having interesting content that is not common knowledge.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about mental illness and the nervous system, which was a highlight because I hope to study these things in greater depth in college. It was a fun learning environment where expression and application to real life was encouraged.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would recommend that they always be sure to actually read the chapter rather than just writing down highlighted words. This helps both your grade and your overall understanding of the course.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Gelman is an interesting man. He is straight up and sometimes rude, but he makes the class interesting and he teaches well. He used psychology terms that we studied from a book and applied them to everyday tasks. Now, I analyze people and come across many situations that I apply back to what I learned in psychology everyday.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the class discussions everyday and learning about how intense the human mind can be. In the class, I learned about the anatomy and functions of the brain. I learned the different levels of consciousness and how it effects our everyday lives. I learned that their is a motive behind every situation and as Dr. Gelman would say, every one is full of it!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It is important to do the reading or else you will be behind. However, it is most important to pay attention to lectures and contribute to the discussions, which is not hard because the topic is very interesting.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This was the best course I took in high school. The teacher understood me as a student, but also as a person. He also made learning individualized, and taught us how to study and learn efficiently and effectively. Not to mention, the curriculum was absolutely fascinating.

    Course highlights:

This course was an excellent introduction to psychology. In fact, taking this class made me decide to be a psychology major in college. I enjoyed the raw, real conversations and presentations we got to have in class.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Students should not think the AP Psychology is a push-over class. You get out of it what you put into it, and I definitely believe that anyone who is willing to learn the material will have a great success and enjoy the class.
