This class was tough.
I would recommend this course because this brief intro to this subject is where biology is headed and is a growing industry in the present and the future.
The highlights of the course was the lab work, we specifically went through a lab to conduct an experiment to determine the amount of protein in vegetables compared animal protein such a beef, chicken, etc. I learned how DNA replicates, how to decipher a random genetic code, what are introns, and exons.

Advice for students:
Read the materials prior to class, pay attention to the key figures in the book and the key words. If you can explain the figure without using the book then going over the material in class will not be as difficult.
