Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because of the history it offers to students that attend HBCU's

    Course highlights:

This course was so special to me because of the relationship my professor built with his students. I learned more about the history of where I come from such as; how we were brought to the Americas, what kept and stills keeps African-Americans back as a people, and much more.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read and review your text. This course is not too difficult, but can be if one does not familiarize him or her self with the material, and reviews the material to ensure that it is being retained.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course teaches us a lot about the origins of human society, racism, and other cultural controversies over the course of time. The professor is very entertaining and it's more than just a lecture. We have deep discussions about the subject matter. Even if you're not a fan of history, you'll enjoy this class immensely.

    Course highlights:

I now understand how and why racism and sexism began. I also became more open-minded about racism, gaining a deeper understanding of the origins. During the start of the course, one of the original members of the Freedom Singers came and talked to us about the the role that the Freedom Singers played in the Civil Rights Movement in America.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes, even if the professor doesn't write it on the board. If you have to think twice about writing down what was said, then write it anyway. Pay attention and come with an open mind and ready to learn. BE ON TIME!
