Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was very enlightening, it shed some light on some things that were confusing. The teachers were fabulous and they are always ready to answer any questions you have, My teacher stayed back late just so that i could pass the test the next day.

    Course highlights:

I learnt what made an Alpha particle different from a Beta particle; I learnt how to effectively dilute a chemical and how to create proper lab procedures. I also learnt how to create research papers and how to create our own experiments.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Come into the class with an open mind and heart. Don't get too laidback, because the course gets harder the farther you go. take notes on anything and everything, trust me it will help you, and don't be afraid to ask for help.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It is a very challenging course. Chemistry takes a lot of time and dedication to understand everything. There are a lot of rules and exceptions that make it harder to remember.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of information! Acids and bases is a particularly hard unit.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't get behind on reading. Cramming doesn't help. Don't give up after not understanding something the first time.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Interesting class with an amazing teacher, who knows the information inside and out and will go into depth if something isn’t clear.

    Course highlights:

Labs were always fun. The work load teaches you time management between other classes and outside of school tasks.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

If something is hard to understand make sure to ask help. Throughout the course everything that is being taught builds upon what has been taught. If a section doesn't makes sense, odds are the future sections won't either. Don't procrastinate with future deadlines within the class. Deadlines seem far, but will show up in a blink of an eye. Take as many notes and study and/or read the sections of the textbook of the current curriculum being taught.
