    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although this course has been the most rigorous course I've taken in all of my high school career, I have learned many lessons and tips to surviving AP classes, and arguably, college. The rigor this course demands is well over my capabilities, but with persistence and dedication I am well over half a year in AP Chemistry and I continue to make better grades and grasp a better understanding as the year progresses.

    Course highlights:

Not only did I gain a thorough knowledge foundation of the chemistry subject, I also learned a great deal about myself as a student and individual. With all that I have learned with this course alone, I think dedication was the most important lesson towards my character. I started AP Chemistry with prior knowledge that this would be an extremely difficult course, and as the year went on, it proved itself. There were many occurrences that I wanted to transfer to a less demanding course, but decided to stick with it, and with my current state, I am glad that I did.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise future students who are interested in AP Chemistry to take this class seriously, to study very hard and dedicate quality time to fully understand a topic before advancing to the next. Although this course was very challenging for me, the ends justified the means in this case.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class is very encouraging and fun despite the hard concepts we learn.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot from the class, and the thing is that it wasn't much of a struggle as I though it would have been.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Do what is expected of you and everything else follows by smoothly. If you do find yourself confused, it's okay, just seek help from the teacher, they'll gladly help.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course was very enlightening, it shed some light on some things that were confusing. The teachers were fabulous and they are always ready to answer any questions you have, My teacher stayed back late just so that i could pass the test the next day.

    Course highlights:

I learnt what made an Alpha particle different from a Beta particle; I learnt how to effectively dilute a chemical and how to create proper lab procedures. I also learnt how to create research papers and how to create our own experiments.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Come into the class with an open mind and heart. Don't get too laidback, because the course gets harder the farther you go. take notes on anything and everything, trust me it will help you, and don't be afraid to ask for help.
