    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

If you get any other teacher, I can't vouch for your sanity! Mrs. Greenho is really nice and will help you succeed while the other teacher may forget to give you assignments and handouts.

    Course highlights:

I dislike English and there's a lot of essay writing but the books we read were really interesting. (In my opinion).

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

A lot of people use sparknotes and it seems to work well enough but I never did.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I wouldn't recommend it because the AP testing is harder than usual.

    Course highlights:

I've loved reading new books, and broadening my perspective on the English curriculum.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you have trouble with higher level vocabulary and reading higher levels, you may not want to take this course.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

AP English is a class where you are able to challenge yourself as an individual thinker. The class is centered around American Literature which is a topic that is familiar and interesting to a majority of the class which sparks conversations.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to read and analyze a piece critically and time efficiently while still being able to raise individual thoughts and opinions on what I was reading.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not get behind on your reading. Yes, they are long novels and often times the language is difficult but it is absolutely impossible to take a test on a book you have not read.
