    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

AP U.S. History at Plano West is a solid course that effectively teaches students a wide range of essential knowledge in American history. The course challenges students as a college-level class but does not overload them to the point where the course is discouraging to take. Studying is also made easier since the textbook is highly beneficial and helpful.

    Course highlights:

I learned a substantial amount of information in U.S. history from native settlement and European exploration to modern-day America as well as skills for effective essay writing.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the textbook and takes notes for every chapter. Aside from that, pay attention in class by taking notes during lectures and completing other class assignments.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I was a bit apprehensive at first especially with English not being my first language and all that but it turned out great. Mr. Cherry is the best teacher that I have ever had and I even got a 5 in the exam in May.

    Course highlights:

I learned all there is to know about the history of the United States. I loved the late 1800s, early 20th century part because we get to talk about John D. Rockefeller ,Andrew Carnegie, and the commodore "Vanderbilt".

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Watch Crash Course US History and APUSH Review. I passed all my tests through the later. And do not give up. I know the class seems really intimidating at first but it is not as bad as it seems.
