Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I truly enjoy AP Statistics for it is applicable in the real world and constantly challenges me. The course includes many new concepts that don't require a prerequisite which is great for students who struggled in past math classes who want to take a class that builds on a prior one.

    Course highlights:

I gained real world knowledge from this course that actually benefitted me in all my other classes. The concepts and course-load weren't too challenging as long as you payed attention to the lectures in class. The homework was very minimal and directly related to the questions on the test, NOT busy work. The class really did a great job of preparing me for the AP test and I feel like I have great understanding of the course.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class and take good notes! As long as you really focus during class, you do not need to do a lot of extra work and studying outside of the classroom. Simply review the concepts during lunch and be prepared for class the next day. It is an overall great course to take!

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

AP Statistics was a relatively easy course that I enjoyed taking to help learn more about graphical interpretation along with fun easy activities that we occasionally did to help reinforce our learning.

    Course highlights:

I loved the simple projects/mini activities we did (especially the ones dealing with food) because it helped me with reinforcing the new lessons we learned and who doesn't love food?

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Although this is mainly considered the "easy" math class, don't think you are beyond the class because we can all learn something from its lessons.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I'm not very good at traditional math but Statistics is more closely related to English and thus, easier for me. Mr. Lowrey is also a hilarious teacher.

    Course highlights:

We learned about bias in experimentation and in surveys, which is useful for navigating politics and social media.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Memorize the assumptions and the conclusion scripts! They're extremely helpful.
