    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to anyone that is willing to work hard and challenge themselves.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were being able to challenge yourself. You learned not only pre-calculus, but you learned how to manage time wisely, how to be in charge of your own work load, and how to learn things that may not come easily to you- whether is be by looking online or asking a teacher.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to take notes and follow along everyday. Homework won't be due the next day, but you should still do your homework daily. This will ensure you do not fall behind. If you do, do not be afraid of going into tutoring. Ms. Grissom will explain things one-on-one well if you ask. Also use the tools in your homework as a resource to help yourself learn a concept.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It pushed me to think for myself and not heavily rely on my teacher to hand me the answers. Thinking critically and using the tools around me before hounding the teacher for a clue, was my brightest challenge but by the end of the course I realized how self-reliant I became.

    Course highlights:

This course helped me understand what it was like to be independent. It's up to the student to ask challenging questions, schedule tutoring times, and ultimately take charge of their own education. It was this skill that was my favorite lesson.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

To future students I would say: come with an open mind. It is too often that all our classes have the same teaching structure. However, this course will allow students to find their own path to creating a solution. It will give them the freedom to figure out their own creative answer.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Pre-Cal is not an easy subject but the teacher will push you to become a better math student, as well as a better problem-solver.

    Course highlights:

Throughout the class I learned to be incredibly independent. The students are in charge of asking challenging questions, coming for tutoring, and working together to solve the problems. I learned to think for myself and use the tools around me to get through tough situations, without heavily relying on my teacher to answer them for me.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

To future students, I would say: come in with an open mind. It is too often that all our classes resemble the same structure of teaching. However this class goes on it's own path and allows for students to find solutions their own way.
