    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend this specific class because the professor is a lenient grader, cares about his students, and as students we actually learn the material thoroughly and correctly.

    Course highlights:

What made this course easy handle was having quizzes each week to refresh our memory with the material. Then, when the exam day arrives, the exam has questions that are similar to the quizzes. The quizzes itself had answer sheets that consisted of step by step procedures on how to solve the problems. I learned the Pre-Calculus material along with College Algebra and Trigonometry.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I would study the quizzes for the tests and study the tests for the final exam. For the quizzes, pay attention to the lecture and take notes and study over them before the quiz.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this for people who like math courses. It does get difficult at times, and you may need a tutor or to try to understand the material on your own time, but you do learn a lot which will prepare you for your other math courses.

    Course highlights:

I learned tips and tricks and an understanding of the concepts of Calculus and what might come next in the other Calculus courses. This course applied concepts to practical, real-life situations.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Get a tutor at the beginning if you are not understanding. Read the book and pay close attention to the lectures. Focus on your weak points, but don't forget to touch up on your high points, as well.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Although Sam Obied's class is difficult but he is a fantastic professor. Hard tester if you do not actually study before tests. He knows how to explain concepts and will help you one on one if you still have trouble grasping them. He is also very humorous and always cracking jokes.

    Course highlights:

I learned Calculus from taking this course. The highlights were the lecture times, I love that he is always so funny.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study. Make sure you understand the concepts and how to use them then you will pass the test. When you study look at the problems he works out in class, some of these are on the test.
