    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's a hard class and the teacher didn't help too much. Notes were given in a packet form and were hard to follow. Homework was not at all like the tests.

    Course highlights:

I learned from this course that studying with a group of people is much more effective because the more heads you have thinking about something, sooner or later you'll figure it out. If you can piece together the information you each have, it'll help you find an answer.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention in class at all times, take your own notes rather than follow along in the packet. Always ask Mr.Calvin to explain if you don't understand something because he will, it will help you, and chances are, some other people were confused as well.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Forensics is an exciting course learning about the details and analysis of forensic science. Fingerprint analysis was my favorite unit because of how many patterns and characteristics can be found in a single fingerprint.

    Course highlights:

Taking a crime scene sketch and collecting measurements from a pre-set up crime sceme, analyzing fingerprints, analyzed bullets and shell casings and matched them to the appropriate gun type. I

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you go to class and dont miss any lab days. Definitely ask questions of your instructor if you get lost along the way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course because there is hands on with labs in class and the teacher explains everything and is good with understanding the students along with having creative lessons.

    Course highlights:

The journal is amazing, filled with tons of good information that can be used in the future and the labs were fun which helped with memorizing lessons.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

You need to be involved in class and willing to learn. Keep your journal organized because it will be very helpful.
