Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Being that it is a writing course, I recommend keeping an open mind with any topic you may be provided with. You may not always agree with the topic, however the course is not meant to only take your opinion on a topic provided, it is meant to help you better understand the MLA writing format and to better understand how research is brought through writing. Also, never write in a bias form.

    Course highlights:

I learned in this course how to better control my thoughts. I was having some trouble voicing my concerns and findings on topics that were given to me simply because my writing was all over the place and did not have much structure. My professor was great in reminding me that this did not make me a terrible writer, she told me I was a strong but adolescent, writer with so many ideas at once that it was hard to put the ideas on paper.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Being that it is a common core academic course, most majors actually have to take this course. I recommend taking it, being that you will have to, and I recommend putting your all into your writing instead of just writing to pass the course. You may learn a lot about yourself as long as you are putting in your full effort.
