    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

As a supplemental instructor/tutor who has seen this professor give a lecture first hand, Catherine MacGowan is a professor who knows her craft. She has experience in the chemical field which really enhances her knowledge of the topics she teaches. She also is very respectful and helpful toward students. I believe her to be one of the best professors of this subject who prepares students for their ACS final exam. She expects a lot out of her students, but that is because she knows the potential they have. I would gladly recommend her to anyone who needs this course.

    Course highlights:

-Basic principles of chemistry (great for students in that major, you get a preview of what's in store) -Lab safety techniques - Good study habits

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are struggling, ask for help. I cannot stress enough how many students wait till they fail the first test until they ask for help. Your professor, peers, and tutors are a resource that you can tap into and what's more, they are free!
