    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Taking an AP course in high school definitely gave me a glimpse of college. It gives you a taste of the reality that is quickly approaching. I highly recommend for any Pre-AP student to take AP US History. Go into it with a mindset that you will have to work hard for the grade that you want. It is not this easy class that you blow everything off until the night before. This is a class of preparation.

    Course highlights:

Honestly, I struggled with this class, I had a hard time learning any of the material. The one thing it did teach me though was great study habits. It taught me to push myself to limits I have never had to meet. Even though I passed that class with a high C, just knowing that I pushed myself and gave it my all allows me to take pride in that C. Its not always about having the highest grade when all is said and done. It is about pushing yourself and doing your best. Practicing self discipline was the hardest thing I learned.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not procrastinate. Study the material, even if a little of it, every night. A little goes a long way. Do all the extra credit even if you may think it is not needed. You can never be sure that you will always ace a test.
