    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Mr.Burtch is more than your average teacher, not only does he have a sound grasp on the material but he is willing to help at any given time. A favorite thing of his to say, is he will help you as long as you are willing to help yourself.

    Course highlights:

My highlight of the year was definitely our studies into the early American Expansion. The rundown through the basics was quick, and was highly detail oriented. Mr.Burtch also showed a fair amount of passion during these chapters, so a slight favoritism may have come into play.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always study! Mr.Burtch outlines the best study material, as well as gives super detailed lectures highlighting the most important parts as he went through. The notes do not clearly give the answers, so some work is important on the students end to succeed.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to study the people you learn about.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course to all underclassmen coming through the high school. Not only did it challenge me in retention of information, but it helped shape me for future classes by helping me get used to a formal lecture style and note taking. By taking this class I also formed good study habits for the first time and was exposed to my first big AP test.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot of things in this course but the most important thing I think I learned is the study habits I gained for the future

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you study and Quizlets help a lot.
