Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Physics 1 was probably my favorite science class I've taken in high school. As someone who loves math, the math based science was really fun to me. It's also not that difficult, though as usual, the AP course is more difficult compared to the college prep class.

    Course highlights:

We learned the basics of motion and Newton's laws. We studied forces of all sorts. We did a lot of fun labs during this course which was definitely a highlight.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Try it out! You'll never know if you like or don't like physics until you try it. Generally, you need a general knowledge of algebra but nothing too fancy is needed.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Biology is a mandatory class to take and you also have to pass the bioogy keystones to be able to graduate so I very highly recommend taking the class and actually paying attention and learning the material.

    Course highlights:

I learned about cells, animals, DNA, and a whole bunch of other stuff too. A fun highlight was making our own soap.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you actually learn the material. It's very tempting to just skim through it and copy the answers for the worksheets but if you don't learn the stuff, you won't pass the bio keystones which you need to do.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Rupp is a great teacher, and gives great advice. The course itself is a challenge and considers a lot of studying, but I never had to pull an all-nighter.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to dissect certain animals and parts of the cell.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Take notes and listen in class.
