    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This class had a lot of great learning tools. The textbook, workbook, and website mixed together very well. In-class, the powerpoints and quizes were very helpful at remembering the information.

    Course highlights:

We did a few in-class demonstrations, such as flipping coins or using formulas to find our shoe size based on height. These are interactive and fun.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to study the material, especially if you've never taken a statistics course. A lot of it will be unfamiliar.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course with Dr. Dube because he makes sure all his students understand the material. Statistics is a different kind of math, one we have not yet seen, so it is normal to be confused on what you are doing, but if you listen in class and do the homework, you will pass.

    Course highlights:

When going into this class I did not think that psychology used math, and after passing it i realize how much math is in psychological research. Say you perform an experiment, well how do you know it is proving something without calculating the statistics first, well you don't know. Just going off what it looks like is not good enough, and now after taking the class, I am not as clueless when it comes to researching.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I cannot stress enough do the homework! The homework is like practice and because it is anew type of math, you need a ton of practice. The homework helped me figure out my confusions. Another tip is to find a study buddy because when you have a friend to study with you both have strengths in the class and you can share those strengths with each other.
