    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

If you enjoy listening to music and finding out some interesting history, this is a great class. You learn the impact jazz had on the history of the united states, and get to broaden your musical bank as you listen to greats like Louis Armstrong, Coltrane, or Fats Waller.

    Course highlights:

I loved listening to different bands and styles of music watching it develop, and flower to what the public thinks of as jazz. Learning the differences between each type of jazz and hearing a tremendous amount of music and why the artist decided to do what they do.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would suggest keeping up with things early on in the week because when you get the things done early, you have free time to enjoy what you have learned and it doesn't add to the pressure of the other classes you might be taking.
