Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

She's a great professor! She has great jokes makes class entertaining. She's also very patient with us when we have questions. I'm glad I took her class!

    Course highlights:

I really learned the different parts of the writing process. I never really cared about revising my papers before and I learned how to give and take constructive criticism. I also learned about how to structure a paper.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on top of the requirements! Keep a calendar and always be on the lookout for what's next. Ask the professor for help and guidance. See what others have done before you and do what they have done.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend taking ENC1101 with professor Cannon. While it is an online course and teacher-student interaction is limited, professor Cannon does a beautiful job of providing the necessary feedback on essays and assignments so that one may improve on later coursework. She provides examples in the modules that assist in completing the coursework and her instructions are always very clear.

    Course highlights:

While ENC1101 is a required general education course and one has the option to CLEP out and exempt, this course greatly improved my writing as well as gave me a new appreciation of literature. I would recommend taking this course as it will aid in future courses where writing is required.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you are considering this course, I would be sure to fully read the syllabus and organize your time wisely so that you have time to complete the coursework and be able to edit. Never turn in your first draft of an essay.
