    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I love microbiology! Even though this course is really difficult it helps you understand a lot about microbial functions that affect our lives.

    Course highlights:

Learning about the applications of microbiology was the highlight for me! I learned about the CRISPR mechanism for gene editing and the applications of this biotechnology seem endless

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

GO TO EVERY CLASS! Even review sessions. There is so much information and the test were very detailed. I usually tape all my lectures and re-listen to them to pick up on notes I missed. I didn't really use the book for lecture more for lab papers.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This teacher is rather tough on his test but if you study his notes and go to class you should do fine. Though the course is tough, you really learn a lot.

    Course highlights:

I greatly enjoyed this class, though I am bias because this is my major. My favorite parts where learning all about different viruses. This professor really knows and love the subject, I really liked how he gave exams of current and past bacterial and viral infections.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Really study his notes and go to class. He goes off of the slides but will add to them during class and that's the stuff that'' be on the exams. Flash cards were really helpful. He also had us read chapters 1 and 2 on our own so if you want to get a head start.

    Course highlights:

She gave in class pop quizzes. There are mandatory quizzes where you only can view your answers once so please screenshot immediately or you won't ever see those questions again for study purposes.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to read the book and teach yourself
