    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The professor, Dr. Criss, is not an ideal professor. He refuses to follow the textbook so it hard to go back home and study what was discussed in class. If you are smart enough to find out where in the book to look for the lectures, you will find that Dr. Criss explains it in a harder way. Textbooks are already hard to understand but with Dr. Criss, those 20 lb nightmares become blessings.

    Course highlights:

PHY2048 is a prerequisite course for physics majors and all engineering majors. So it is vital that you understand. If you learn physics the right way it helps improve your problem solving skills and you can say that you have conquered what is regarded as the hardest science!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Be prepared to study and work you butt off. I am generally a straight A student but this course got the better of me. The exams are difficult and Dr. Criss is so particular about making sure his students don’t cheat, you can even look up and ask God for help. You end up getting neck cramps because you are too scared to even reposition yourself during an exam. Be prepared to sit through long lectures and try to decipher Dr. Criss’ chicken scratch handwriting. But as a highlight you will see some of the most horribly drawn and amusing emojis ever!
