Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

There is a lot of material in this course to cover in a semester for an online course. I wouldn't take unless you have at least 12 hours a week to study. I have struggled to be as involved in my major's courses because of the amount of time involved with covering this material. There are help sessions available but its difficult to get the work done in just a few days to even see what I need help with. This class really left me hanging, I wish I could learn more from it but it is just not laid out in an efficient manner and the feedback isn't really to help you with the material. The only feedback I have ever received is "good work, but you missed points because you did not meet the word count requirement" AND THIS IS BECAUSE I TYPE A RESPONSE in 249 words and not 250. Literally, no slack on simple basic requirements but no critical feedback on content. Maybe it is because there are 5 TA's that do ALL the communication and assignment grading. I wrote the professor ONE time and two or three TA's and the professor replied stating only to do so if its an emergency. A little ludicrous if you ask me, I paid for this course and if I expect a professional response from a teacher, I should get this without being ridiculed.

    Course highlights:

I really only learned general knowledge about business law. Torts, negligence, who is as fault in certain situations in retail scene, corporate scene, etc. What agreements need to be in writing vs what can be enforced if given orally. I did not take away any major knowledge of specific codes, however I did retain information on general provisions protecting business transactions under the UCC, sales, leases, contract law.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study at least two hours per chapter, cover the modules given by the instructor, use as many practice quiz questions as you can before exams, they are tough.
