    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was one of the most challenging and rewarding classes I've ever taken. It mingles the anatomy of the brain with the biology and behaviors we know, and really gave me perspective. The professor really knows her stuff and teaches it in a way that is very helpful. She encourages any and all questions, and is happy to expound upon a subject.

    Course highlights:

Learning about psychology and human behavior for several semesters was great, but this course really shows you the behind-the-scenes information on what's going on to generate thoughts and behaviors.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Diagrams and flash cards are your friends! I googled images for many of the topics, particularly the ones dealing with anatomy, and made flash cards for a lot of the technical words and neurotransmitters.
