Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is very insightful and there is never a dull movement to be had. I think this is the first class I have taken where students don't fall asleep in the back of the room.

    Course highlights:

The best part of this class were the different activities and the discussions. Never was there a day where I walked out of class feeling unfulfilled or like it was a waste of my time. This course focuses on communication with different people and controversial topics that can sometimes be hard to address.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take this course if you do not like to read. The course load is light but the grades of the course are heavily weighed on exams and there are only three exams.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it revealed the differences between people and how we could learn better ways in which to communicate effectively concerning those differences. Also, this class was very controversial in a good way by expressing the reality of society in the United States that is usually understated in the public or media.

    Course highlights:

This course focused on past and present diversity issues that happen or happened in history. The teacher likes to see the communication similarities and differences throughout different cultures, races, genders, and social classes. This class opens your eyes to the truth and reality of diversity in the United States and the world.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

My suggestions to students who are interested in taking this course would be to read the books that are required. Also, pay attention to what is being said in class because most of it will be present on the exams.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class will teach you so many things about yourself and others. It opened my eyes to many things about people.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the class activities that we did in class. It helped emphasized what we learned n a fun way. I also loved the class discussions that happened and hearing everyone's point of view on class, gender, and or race.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do the readings because when the professor says you have to do it for the test she means it. It is a lot of reading over time so I would recommend you do it ahead of time and if you do not, make sure you have other people to help split it up.
