    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Study. Practice tests. What is asked one way, ask yourself a different way. Extrapolate that to medicine. Dr. Woods is fabulous but this is not the course as rated in ratemyprofessor - he changed it all up and it is hard. There are no take home exams. You are allowed to use a binder but that won't help you unless you already really know the information well. Go to class. Despite that it's not required, it helps to see what the demos and how he solves problems.

    Course highlights:

Magnetics, electric fields, point charges, optics.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Daily 3 hours; weekends 4. Make sure you do the practice exam on your own without friends at least once. Make sure you do all the suggested problems at least once. Make sure you do all the quizzes at least once. Make sure you can do them in any way the question could be asked. This class is easy for the brain surgeons and those with IQs at 180+... for the rest of us, you need to study. A lot.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

The course load is very fair, especially considering that this class is a large lecture hall. The material is very interesting and can be used in every day life as well.

    Course highlights:

In this course, the main highlights included polarization, electric fields, magnetic fields, circuits, and the impacts all of these have on particles, such as protons and electrons.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

For this course, I advise every student to put in a lot of time and effort into studying. The exams are tough, and reviewing the homework and practice exams are a must! Work on the material outside of class on a daily basis because the topics are tough to understand.
