    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It is an easy online class. The professor responds to emails very quickly. Only one five question quiz and one discussion board is due weekly. Also, the exams are very easy.

    Course highlights:

This class was paced very well. The information is easy to learn. The discussion boards that needed to be done were opinion based. Overall you do learn a lot about the criminal justice field.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this class online not in person! The same professor teaches it in person and online. Online version is much easier and gives you the ability to teach yourself the information at your own pace.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Heide is an awesome teacher who really brings the criminal justice system to perspective. She brings in tons of speakers that are top of their field as well as bringing in recruiters for students to be able to talk to in class. Her class shows the multiple sides of the justice system from public defenders to prosecutors to the FBI to the just regular police officers. This class isn't a lecture, but an experience. And when you take the exams, you see that you learned more than you thought through those experiences.

    Course highlights:

She brought in a ton of guest speakers that told their point of views. She had a SWAT team leader, a police chief, four FBI Agents, a prosecutor, a public defender, a judge, and more. She also gives a lot of extra credit through things like police ride-a-longs and criminal justice career days. It's honestly hard to fail this class. She makes sure that you know the questions for the quizzes and the textbook is a really easy study.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do your quizzes and try not to miss class.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Cass is an excellent professor who never fails to engage students and keep us interested in the material. I have taken her for two classes and have thoroughly enjoyed each one as she does an excellent job of communicating and keeping things interesting.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the intricacies of criminal justice in her course. We learned about several popular viewpoints that try to explain why people commit crimes and we learned what to expect as future members of law enforcement.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Just work hard and do all the assignments. The teacher is very helpful so contact her with any issues or questions.
