    Course Overview:

    Study and do the homework/book problems and you will get an A.

    Course highlights:

    More conceptual than organic chemistry 2, meaning less of a focus on mechanisms and more one what the process produces.

    6-8 hours

    study and study more, practice and understand and you will master it. Different that Orgo II

    Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

    Dr. Turos is a wonderful professor! He is fun, brilliant, and kind. He is always willing to help students, and treats them as young professionals. You will learn a lot from him, and will enjoy doing it!

    Course highlights:

    I remember that I learned a lot about carbohydrate structures, and especially on the topic of ring opening and closing. The major highlight was Dr. Turos' friendly and enlightening manner of teaching the material. His tests were also very fair.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Just make sure you do your homework assignments and print your notes out before you come to class. It will help! Also, make sure to utilize Dr. Turos' office hours -- it is definitely worth it!

    I would recommend this course it is very informative and Turros is a great professor.

    Course highlights:

    The highlight was his teaching style and I learned in depth organic chemistry.
