Dr. U is absolutely fantastic and extremely passionate about what he teaches and he is always available to help.

    Course highlights:

I loved learning about how human biology ties into aspects of the nutritional field as far as what we eat and where saturated and unsaturated fats come from and how our bodies react to each. Phenomenal course and very thorough content.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

GO TO LECTURE! As long as you show up and pay attention the course is pretty easy to follow.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I recommend it if you are willing to do the work outside. It provides many of the basics that will be expanded on in upper level courses. My instructor was difficult to understand and made his power points out of the book. He reiterated the readings.

    Course highlights:

This is your basics of biology when combined with BSC 2011. You learn a little bit about the different ecosystems in the world.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book, outline it, and do the reviews at the end of the chapter. If you get confused seek help right away or you will fall behind and find it impossible to catch up.
