    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Fields explains all the material very clearly and loves the material, she will have you chuckle from a chemistry joke. She helps the student succeed with the reviews grading scale.

    Course highlights:

I learn many different reactions that can be connected in many ways. The knowledge of these reactions make it possible for me to make a path from a certain reactant to the desired product. Synthesis is difficult but a necessity.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

try to review the material after class to ensure you have some of it retained when it comes to the test. It is hard to study a night before, there is just too much material being covered.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Lewis is a very understanding professor and is always there to help, no matter what the situation at hand. He worked with me when I was barely able to see him for office hours and even met me for lunch once. Overall great guy!

    Course highlights:

Dr. Lewis definitely was thorough and prepared me for the chemistry classes I needed to take after his.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to make sure that you put your all into this class, especially considering that every chemistry class after this builds on the material you learn here.
