    | Would not recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course is extremely difficult. The grade you receive is reliant solely on four exams and a quiz each week throughout the semester. The exams are lengthy and difficult. The professor was often absent (leaving his TA's to teach) or would end class early because he, "Didn't feel like teaching anymore". Would not recommend taking with this professor.

    Course highlights:

From this course I learned how to stifle back tears during an exam, pass a class by the skin of my teeth, and learn the material on my own.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say to study in a group. Review the practice problems from the book. Go to tutoring. Basically, all the time you thought you were going to spend with your friends, should really be used to study or try to salvage your grade.

    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Fields is an amazing professor who cares about the success of her students and offers more resources than any professor I have ever had!

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course were all of the opportunities for extra credit and Dr. Fields lively personality during lecture!

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Study, study, study! Organic chemistry does not come easy to anyone, and my best advice is to learn the material before class and come in prepared and ready to answer questions. This way the lecture serves more as a review and the information is more reinforced.
