    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Scott Lewis is a really good professor with hands on help every week.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about acids and bases. I learned all chem 2 topics and my final grade was satisfying.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to study and learn. Some of the concepts are abstract and hard to learn but the tests cover general information.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This was a good foundational class for my future chemistry classes.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the basics of chemistry that I will need for the following upper level chemistry classes I will take.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure that you keep up with the information on a weekly basis. Don't confuse familiarity with knowing the material; chemistry is one of the subjects that is very unforgiving about only kind of knowing the answer; and that's why the class average tends to be a C.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course offers a comprehensive introduction to very beneficial chemistry concepts. The professors collaborate and provide help during class, in office hours, and online. They also provide sets of practice problems and learning objectives for each topic covered.

    Course highlights:

The material was presented in an understandable way, with concepts introduced in parts and with the aid of practice problems that helped to create full understanding. I learned many basic chemistry concepts and skills, including those such as energy, solubility, acids and bases, and spontaneity.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Practice problems will provide the most help during this course. Solving and discussing problems will help to create a comprehensive understanding of necessary concepts.
