    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this course to anyone wishing to pursue a career in the healthcare field! The material gives you a lot of insight into issues that affect the healthcare world in today's society. There are current event assignments to do that bring to light major issues or happenings that could have a huge impact on health worldwide. It's a really enlightening course!

    Course highlights:

Throughout this course, I learned how different behavioral theories and models relate to present day health issues and how we can use these models to make changes to the way health is portrayed and habits are made. The group project was a big highlight, too, as it required us to use the Socioecological Model for a selected topic and research it further. This helped to reinforce things that we had already learned about the model and each individual level of it. It was very interesting because we saw the different barriers and facilitators for people trying to participate in physical activity. Based on this, we could come up with ways to encourage more physical activity in daily lives of the population.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make absolutely sure to read the textbook!! Also watch the required viewings a few times so that you don't miss any important details. Make sure to read assignment instructions very carefully as some of the assignments can be a little bit confusing to complete.
