    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Organic Chemistry is an all around tough course and everyone started to tell me there horror stories when I entered class on the first day. I remember going into organic 1 and thinking what did I get myself into. Organic Chemistry is definitely one of the toughest course at any university and it is great when you find the perfect professor. I had an amazing professor and she taught in a way that everyone could understand.

    Course highlights:

In organic chemistry there are a lot of concepts that are taught. You begin by learning the basics of how molecules are built and how they react with one another. After the basics you go from one basic molecule to a more complex molecule that is 3x the size. There are a lot of concepts in organic chemistry and if you love the subject you will do great in this course.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

STUDY! STUDY! STUDY! I can't stress enough how important it is to take a lot of time out of your day to practice drawing the molecules and going over concept questions. If your professor gives you a hand out, don't just toss it to the side, do it! You will not regret the extra time you spent to get the A.
