    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this class. The professor is the best and the class is very informative and easy at the same time.

    Course highlights:

I learned more about how influential the environment and mentality of an author can influence a work. Additionally, I learned that science and literature can work very well together. I always thought they were two very separate topics that didn't like each other.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you do the homework. There is a lot of reading and the works are not always interesting, but he does pop quizzes so if you want to do well . . .

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Curran is very knowledgeable, but is very judgmental and quick to have an attitude with students. He really did not seem to enjoy his job.

    Course highlights:

I felt as if I took nothing away from this course, he did not teach much about how to write well, but expected papers to be written at a Graduate level.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I think this course would be enjoyable with another professor. I also took it in the morning which made it hard to focus on his monotone voice.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He is an awesome professor, very humble and kind! The class is also very interesting. There is quite a bit of work, but well worth learning!

    Course highlights:

How to analyze literature and pull in the time period of the author (in which the work was written) to better understand the deeper meaning behind each sentence.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you are ready to read. Don't fall behind on your reading because it does catch up to you.
