Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Although this course is an introductory course, it is not easy but it does prepare you for the following Chemistry courses. Dr. Cruz takes time to make sure you understand every aspect of what is being taught and his sassy personality always leaves you with a smile on your face. The course work is light, but make sure to attend class for clicker points.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was that Dr. Cruz broke down every chapter, from simple math to the periodic table and all the way until you learn the details of beginners chemistry. If you have never taken a chemistry class and do not quite understand it, you will surely be able to by the end of the semester.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to attend class, as clicker points can add up. Dr. Cruz does at least two clicker questions every day. Plus, the lectures are interesting and he provides many examples to help you for future exams. Discussion classes allow you to meet and work with your classmates, and they help you prepare for exams as well.
